Dogs Cured of Type 1 Diabetes


Emax Health recently published an article regarding a study performed on dogs, to cure type 1 diabetes. The researchers used gene therapy in the dogs, which led to complete remission of type 1 diabetes.

There was previous success with this study in mice, however this is the first success with gene therapy in large animals. This could mean great things for humans in the future!
